Einstein didn't predict the Internet
Einstein wrote this and said 98% of the world would not solve it - and he was wrong.
There are 5 houses of 5 different colors. In each house lives a person of a different nationality. Each of the 5 residents drinks a certain type of beverage, smokes a certain brand of cigar, and keeps a certain pet. None of them have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same beverage.
- The Briton lives in a red house
- The Swede keeps a dog
- The Dane drinks tea
- The green house is to the left of the white house
- The green house owner drinks coffee
- The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds
- The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill
- The centre house owner drinks milk
- The Norwegian lives in the first house
- The Blends smoker lives next door to the one who keeps cats
- The one who keeps the horse lives next door to the man who smokes Dunhill
- The one who smokes Bluemasters drinks beer
- The German smokes Prince
- The Norwegian lives next door to the blue house
- The man who smokes Blends has a neighbour who drinks water
- The first house is on the left, the fifth house on the right
Question: Who keeps pet fish?
As brilliant as Einstein was - he couldn't have envisaged Google. Ignorance is no longer a barrier to human endeavour - the best exploiters of the Internet are the crackers who want to get into your machine, and they know a lot more about how to do it than you know about how to stop them.
