In return for many happy hours at live music gigs in Sheffield, isham research is offering a special deal for gigging musicians and bands. A full web service for

£25 a month

Professional web service is expensive. So most musicians do it badly themselves because that's all they can afford. Our deal is automated and designed to suit the requirements of club/pub performers.

It includes:

• Domain name registration
• Domain hosting
• Preparation of one simple home page in line with our professional guidelines. See the Home Page for details
• Submission of the site to the major search engines with one inbound link to encourage indexing
• Preparation of a Google sitemap in XML format
• Verification of the sitemap with Google
• Preparation of a WAP page for the site
• Preparation of a Google mobile sitemap
• Verification of the mobile sitemap with Google
• One page listing all gigs currently booked with venue and band booking contacts
• Copyright in the above materials, should you wish to move
• Automatic extraction and ageing of the next four gigs from the gig page to the home page
• Automatic extraction and ageing of the next two gigs from the gig page to the mobile home page
• Unlimited additions to, changes and deletions from the gig list submitted by email or text message actioned within 24 hours. Includes Google sitemap resubmission(s) if change affects next seven days

Anything else is extra. We will NOT support graphics or music on the home page - this is impossible with the automation used. It also seriously impacts usability for dialup and mobile users. Picture galleries, tracks, Shockwave, biographies, etc., can be hung off lower pages at a small extra cost.

And PLEASE - if you want to be found by a search engine, pick a good unique name. "The Beatles" is unfortunately taken.
